The assessment evaluates speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills, providing instant results aligned with the Common European Framework of References for Languages (CEFR) levels A1 to C2.
Priced at £15 per assessment, VELA is an online test featuring industry-specific content. This approach ensures learners are tested on language relevant to their chosen careers in the beauty sector. Stuart Skinner, VTCT Skills' director of international development, stated the VELA was developed to address international challenges concerning accessibility, speed, and trust in language assessments. The test promises reliable outcomes within minutes, maintaining quality and integrity.
