Rainbow Room International gathered its eleven salons for the 37th Annual Congress in Glasgow, focusing on 'Past, Present, Future.' A live podcast with Ayr Salon Director Riccardo Corvi opened the event, sharing the group's philosophy. Discussions followed with key figures like Alan Stewart and Academy Director Laura Leigh Kerr, who spoke about the brand's evolution and future vision.
Each salon presented its 2026 goals and creative direction. The Rainbow Room Artistic Team, led by Suzie McGill, showcased styles inspired by the Schwarzkopf PRO UK Pop Icons shoot. The evening culminated in an awards ceremony celebrating dedication and excellence across the group.
The Buchanan Street salon was a major winner, securing 12 awards, including Salon Team of the Year, a notable achievement following its surpassing of the £1 million revenue milestone. Other central Glasgow locations also performed strongly: George Square collected seven awards, and Royal Exchange Square received nine.
Salons outside the city centre achieved significant recognition. Great Western Road won 6 awards, Crow Road 4, Clarkston 3, Ayr 8, Uddingston 7, and Bearsden 6. The Academy on Howard Street took home 5 awards. The event highlighted the collective ambition and individual salon achievements within the Rainbow Room International network.
