The British Hairdressing Business Awards 2026 revealed their winners on March 2nd at Royal Lancaster London, celebrating excellence within the UK's professional hairdressing sector. The event brought together industry leaders and brands to honour achievements in business acumen, creativity, and dedication.
Recognised for their exceptional contributions were numerous businesses and individuals. Michael Van Clarke LLP earned a place in the Hall of Fame for multiple Marketing Campaign of the Year awards. Rebecca Carr Hair Salon won the Customer Service Award, while Hair & Care took home Innovation of the Year.
TONI&GUY were awarded Marketing Campaign of the Year. Bohemian Salon secured the Salon Design Award, and Lee Stafford received the Educator of the Year award, with Rory Gamble of Forresters receiving a special commendation. Lewis Dunn of Goldsworthy’s Hairdressing was named Assistant of the Year.
Woolf Kings X was honoured as the Independent Salon – Business Newcomer. Crate Cheshire claimed Barbershop/Grooming Salon of the Year. Sarah Biss from Academy Salons Esher was Manager of the Year, and Gareth Williams of Williams & Hirst won Social Stylist of the Year.
CRAFT… was recognised for Sustainable Salon of the Year. Goldsworthy’s Hairdressing won Salon Team of the Year, and We Are Salon was named Salon of the Year 2. Sara Williams from Melissa Timperley Salons was crowned Salon Stylist of the Year. Trinder Hair Studios received Salon of the Year 1, and Samantha Cusick of Samantha Cusick London / Stā Studios was Business Director of the Year.
While the awards highlight significant success stories, the absence of specific criteria for each category means business owners cannot easily benchmark their own performance against the winners.
