Wella Professionals has combined its House of Wella experience with the TrendVision Award competition for a single event on 14-15 September 2026 in London. This marks the first time the immersive brand showcase and the hair contest will merge.
The event takes place at London’s Town Hall by Bottaccio, offering two days of educational content and brand activations. House of Wella will feature panel discussions, hands-on styling booths, and masterclasses. The multi-brand format includes dedicated zones for Sebastian Professional, OPI, Nioxin, and Briogeo, highlighting their latest innovations and brand identities.
TrendVision Award 2026 adopts a new evening format on 14 September. It will blend competition with entertainment, including six hair shows from artists like Sassoon Academy, Richard Ward, Calum Tierney, and Nikki Clifford. Last year’s winners will also present a show, mentored by James Earnshaw, demonstrating career progression.
The competition categories for UK & Ireland are Transformation Visionary Award, Editorial Visionary Award, Digital Transformation Award, and XPOSURE Future Talent Award. Photographic entries opened on 27 April, closing on 26 June. Results will be announced on 20 July, with all finalists competing live at the UK & Ireland Final in London on 14 September.
This fusion signals Wella Professionals' ambition to consolidate its presence and offerings. By bringing education, brand promotion, and competition under one roof, the company aims to create a significant industry gathering. The question for salons is how this consolidated event will impact attendance and engagement compared to separate activations.
