The deadline for Salon Business Awards 2026 entries has moved to midnight on Friday, January 9. This extension grants UK salon owners, teams, and individuals additional time to submit their applications.
This marks the second extension, prompted by significant industry demand and numerous requests for more time. The awards, now in their 14th year, recognise achievements across creativity, innovation, leadership, sustainability, education, retail, and business performance.
The extra time allows entrants to refine their submissions and supporting materials. Joanne Charlton, Founder and Director of the Salon Business Awards, stated the extension provides a fair chance for all to participate, following a strong response to this year's event.
Winners will receive a Content Creation Day, including podcasts, a professional photoshoot, and a social media/PR workshop. A panel of industry experts will judge the entries, with finalists announced soon before the ceremony later this year.
This move reflects the ongoing challenges businesses face in compiling comprehensive award submissions. While extending the deadline is helpful, salons must still strategically allocate resources to prepare compelling entries that accurately showcase their accomplishments and set them apart from competitors.
