K18 has launched its Pro Artist Program, a global initiative aiming to support and amplify hair educators and stylists. The program, announced on April 8th, 2026, by Josie Jackson, focuses on individuals shaping the professional hair industry through teaching and community building.
The brand states this program expands its artist-first mission by providing selected participants with advanced hair science and technical education. K18 will offer product resources, promotional chances, and opportunities to collaborate on brand events and campaigns. This initiative aims to elevate artists who are already active in leading classes and fostering engaged client bases.
Kathy Lewis, SVP of Global Education at K18 Biomimetic Hairscience, highlighted the program's role in investing in artists who are advancing the industry. She noted a shift towards prioritizing hair longevity as a key trend in professional services, suggesting the program supports this focus. The initiative will operate internationally, including key markets like the US, Australia, and several European countries, alongside Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and Costa Rica.
K18 Pro Artists are identified through applications and by recognising established educators within the K18 community. The selection process prioritises those who teach independently, command significant followings, and demonstrate leadership. This program intends to showcase how K18's peptide technology integrates with current trends favouring hair health and longevity.
