Fresha has expanded its Brand Ambassador programme, adding eight new industry professionals. This group includes salon owners, educators, and brand founders who collectively reach over 200 million people online monthly. The initiative highlights a shift in the beauty sector, where influence now extends beyond traditional craft to encompass entrepreneurship and digital presence.
Josh Lamonaca, co-founder of MENSPIRE and Fresha's Head of Hair Education, is leading this expansion. His work has established barbering as a global educational movement. Lamonaca notes a critical change: future leaders will be recognised for business acumen, not just technical skill.
The new cohort features prominent figures like Chloe Ferry of The Beauté Lounge, Thaddeus Jayaseelan, founder of Gradient barbering academy, and Andrea Amighetti, a multi-location European salon owner. Alexi Michael, founder of Learn to Cut, and Australian entrepreneur Jordan Tabakman also join. Kochi Faraj of Kochi Dubai and Yadiell Alberto Rodriguez (A-Rod) from L3VEL3 are among the selected individuals.
These ambassadors represent a modern business model for the industry, integrating creative talent with scalable operations. They leverage technology, specifically Fresha's platform, for booking, payments, and customer insights as their businesses grow. As Thaddeus Jayaseelan states, the platform offers structure and simplicity for business growth. Andrea Amighetti adds that it provides essential visibility for expanding multi-location businesses without sacrificing quality.
These new members join an existing group including Sam Bentham (Rascals Barbershop) and Mark Maciver (SliderCuts). This growing network of global beauty leaders emphasizes the integration of creativity, entrepreneurship, and influence. Fresha, with over 140,000 partner businesses worldwide, continues to support professionals driving the self-care economy.
