The Fellowship for British Hairdressing has revealed the eight semi-finalists for the 2026 Ann Herman Scholarship. This program honours the legacy of Ann Herman, who dedicated over 40 years to producing and curating live industry events. The scholarship aims to cultivate emerging talent, specifically focusing on developing confident communication and stage presence for aspiring presenters.
The 2026 semi-finalists are Jordan Heyes, Finlee Spearing, Alexandra Bamber, Katy Hoston, Kirby Blythe, Lucy Melvin, Shruty Stephenson, and Zoe Gaitley. These individuals will compete for a chance to receive mentorship from leading industry figures. The prize includes opportunities to present at key Fellowship events such as HAIRCON, the F.A.M.E. Team Semi-Finals and Finals, Projects Finale, Creative XChange, and Hair & Vision.
The selection process includes a semi-final on 11 May, leading to a live final on 14 June at HAIRCON, hosted at O2 Victoria Warehouse. The judging panel comprises Simon Shaw, Debbie Gee, Errol Douglas, James Parr, and Stacey Wright. This initiative continues to be a significant platform for nurturing future leaders within the hairdressing industry by developing their confidence and presentation skills.
